Special Occasion Winners and Signature Look Week

And we have the results (channel Ryan Seacrest here...)

The designer winner this week is Jessica for her amazing "The Real Mc Coy" looks.  (We still can't believe she made an entire boy's suit....absolutely amazing!) A big congratulations to Jessica and as the winner this week, she will receive a $25 gift certificate to The Umbrella Girl Shop as part of her win.

And now for the hard part.  Sadly, because it was double elimination this week we are letting two absolutely, amazing designers go.

Kate

and Kristin

We know that every designer in this competition has worked so hard and we want to thank all of them for their amazing efforts.  What amazing special occasion wear!

And now, for our Sew Along winner.  Our SEW. ALONG. JUDGES. CHOSE (I am trying to create suspense here--and I am just being lame).....

She will receive $25 to Moona Fabrics, one of our amazing fabric sponsors!  Have you seen their selection of fabrics?  I just got lost over there looking at their eye-candy....and they have some new arrivals that I have never even seen before.  Yum, yum.

OK.  I know that this post is now the longest thing in history,
but we have one more announcement.

WE. WANT. YOU. ALL. TO. SEW. A. SIGNATURE. LOOK.

And we are giving you two weeks to do it!

By Thurday, February 16th at 8 pm (MST) you need to post your signature looks to the FLICKR group.  The judges that night will then narrow the group down to the top five, and Friday morning (what an exciting Friday morning that will be) the top 5 will be put up in a Reader's poll.

And then you all will get to vote on your favorite signature look.

The winner of the sew-along signature look contest will be announced on Monday the 20th of February!

  7. I have a quick question - do you have to be in the US to enter the signature look competition? I am in England and would love to enter.

I have hunted all over the blog but can't find an answer!

    Thanks!

  10. Hm, I haven't found the time to participate thus far in the sew along but I just may have to do the Signature Look, I have been meaning to make new Sunday outfits for my girls since the baby outgrew hers and for me a signature look would definitely include coordinating sister outfits that cater to what looks best on each girl... two weeks should be enough time, especially if I hustle on finishing moving my craft room around to fit my hubby's office in there too!

  12. This season what the first time I heard about Project Run and Play, which I heard about from Jessica's blog. I have been so impressed with all the clothes the contestants have created and really enjoyed following it. I am excited to see who will win but also sad that this round will be finished. I will definitely look out for the next one.
