    ReplyDelete
  51. I don't really have one. I'm mostly a jeans and t-shirt gal.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  66. I do not really have a fashion icon by name. I am very impressed with some women who are classified as overweight but yet look so dressed and so together that it is not even noticed. Being a bit overweight myself, I know how easy it is to put on something loose and baggy and comfy. Then I see someone who is much heavier than me just out food shopping and look so dressed and beautiful. Just makes me take note and be impressed.

  67. As strange as it may be, my style icon would be my sister. She is always put together no matter what she is doing.

  70. Pick Your Plum is one of my fave emails of the day and the reason for overspending many times :) However, they are not my fashion icon lol. I'd have to say, gosh it's hard to say. I admire so many different women and their style - Audrey Hepburn, Kate Middleton, Emma Pillsbury (i know she's not a real person but I like her clothes) and the J.Jill woman. The JJill woman wears all the clothes they have in their store and I love 99% of what they offer. Too bad my checkbook doesn't agree :)

There was no cut off date for comments - I hope I'm not too late!

    Thanks!

  80. Mine would have to be Carrie from Sex in the City. I'm an old hippie and although I've left the kaftan and earth shoes behind I still like the individualism she has and the use of vintage and found fashion items put together with classic Gucci, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Fashion Icon. Hmm. Nadine (called Deni on the air) Wimmer on ksl news. :) I always comment on her outfits, and even my husband says, "Have you seen that necklace yet? Do you like that outfit?"

  82. I don't have an icon, I have an era. 1948 through 1956. Clothes were at there height of femininity. The war was over and the restrictions on fabric were gone. the designers went wild with long sweeping skirts. I make my own clothes, so I buy vintage patterns and make thes dresses and skirts. So a period of time is my icon.
One of the first things I do when I get on the computer in the morning is check out Pick Your Plum
Thank you so much for the chance to win.

  83. I'd have to say Zooey Deschanel. I love her style, but personally, I'm not gutsy enough to even try most of the things she wears. Honestly, I'm really a t-shirt and jeans with flip flops kind of girl. It's sad. But oh so comfy!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Probably Gywenth Paltrow. carrie dot hare at gmail dot com

  85. Chuck from Pushing Daisies. If someone doesn't make patterns for her dresses soon, I'm going to attempt it myself.

  86. I was going to say I don't really have a fashion icon, until I read the comment before mine. She's so right! I LOVE chuck from Pushing Daises. ReplyDelete
  91. I would have to say Jackie O. I love the classic style.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I am a tshirt and jeans kind of girl but if I had the money to emulate any specific person it would be Kate Middleton. Highly "wearable" styles and a classic look. She is so sophisticated and I would love to wear anything that she has! (Except maybe some of the hats, lol)

    ReplyDelete
