Week Two: Fashion Icon Week

Happy Monday everyone!  This week is going to be exciting!
The challenge for this week is to choose a favorite fashion icon and make a childrens look based on the style of that icon.  (Fun right?  We think so and we can't wait to see who you all choose!)
If you are sewing along with us at home remember to have your photos (please no more than 2) uploaded to the Flickr group by 8:00am MST Friday morning.
Now onto the results of last weeks chalenge:
After tallying the readers votes and combining them with our judges scores,
the winner of Katy's "It's Okay to be Biased" skirt remix is.....
Kimbo from A Girl and A Glue Gun with her Sunshine Dress!
...and sadly we have to say goodbye to our very first friend...
Rachel from Nest Full of Eggs
We hate saying goodbye...
...and we don't want Rachel to leave us empty handed so she will be recieving a $25 gift certificate to Southern Fabric.com.  Stop over at Rachel's blog today and let her know that she will be missed and encourage her to upload her Fashion Icon look to the Flickr group---trust us, you'll want to see it!

As for all of you in our sew along group.  Our judges had their work cut out for them this week.  We had 35 creative remix looks uploaded to the Flickr group but after the judges scores were tallied the winner of this week's prize goes to....

Begin with B's hidden pocket pants!
Which means that she will be recieving $25 from our friends over at Sew Fresh Fabrics.
Ok, so, I think that is all the news for today.
So what you still hanging around here for?
Go get sewing!
PS---A BIG thank you to Southern Fabric and Sew Fresh Fabrics for their generous gifts for our ladies this week.  Please, go check our their awesome shops.  You won't be dissappointed.
