Skirting the Issue is HERE!!!

My favorite month of the blogging year is here....July, which means it's Skirting the Issue!

Every year we spend the entire month of July making skirts to donate to girls in foster care.  It works out perfectly because we make them in July and they receive them in August just in time for back to school.

And it's not just us that makes them...you can to...and we wish you would!

Project Run and Play is run by us, Elizabeth and liZ from over at Simple Simon and Company which is where Skirting the Issue actually started 4 years ago.  And over at Simple Simon and Company we are sharing two different skirt tutorials everyday for the next few weeks.  

These tutorials come from ladies all across blogland and are free and are all great to use for skirts to donate to Skirting the Issue.

Now...how can you be involved?

All you have to do is make a skirt and donate it.

There are foster care closets practically everywhere.

What if you don't know where one is?

Then you can mail it to us

OR

if you know of another charity who could use it simply donate it there.

And what's in it for you?

Wellllllll....

If you take a photo of the skirt you made to donate and add it to the linky party you are entered to win a variety of seriously awesome prizes...like a brand new Baby Lock sewing machine!!!

We will be posting more over here soon...but I just wanted to put up a quick post to let you know what we are doing and what is going on.  

Next month we will be back to PR&P as usual but for these next few weeks it's all about Skirting the Issue and we hope that you will join us!
