Designer Collection #3: Project Street Style

Today we are so excited to present to you our third Project Run & Play collaboration in the form of a collection of patterns, designed together, to create a capsule wardrobe for children everywhere.

Designer Capsule #2: Project Street Style

This capsule wardrobe collection with 7 patterns is full of options and details, perfect for the change of seasons for both boys and girls.

These 7 patterns come in tops and bottoms, wovens and knits, layering pieces, separates, dresses, jumpsuits, and more!  The patterns have a wide selection of sizes available, from newborn through teen.

Through this week we'll be revealing each of the 7 patterns and it's designer.

Today we're revealing the TWO patterns in the collection released under the Project Run & Play logo.  These two patterns are designed by Audrey, the leader of Project Run & Play.

The Easy Street Tee is a relaxed fit dolman sleeve tee with fun sleeve cuffs.  The Easy Street offers 2 views.  Unisex for every boy and girl, and soon to become their favorite tee ever.  The dolman sleeves offer ultra comfort.  The front is slightly cropped to show off the lines of a sassy skirt while providing just the right amount of coverage from the scooped back.  The long sleeves boast a faux layered look with extra long sleeves.  The short sleeve tee is cuffed for on trend fashion. A raw edge pocket can be added to either tee.

The Easy Street Tee is inspired by the loose fitting, comfortable to wear fashions in the Asian Street Style scenes.  Every kid prizes comfort, and the Easy Street Tee is not only a nod to that, but also very easy to construct.  Seriously the fastest tee you’ll ever sew!

Did you see the mention of a sassy skirt in the Easy Street Tee description above?  Meet the Stoplight Skirt!  The Stoplight Skirt offers 3 views, Full Stop maxi, She’s A Caution midi, and Girl on the Go pencil skirt. Perfect for every girl, no matter her taste in skirts.

Girl on the Go pencil skirt is one she’ll grab for everyday style.

She’s A Caution midi has an a-line shape with some special gathered details.

Full Stop maxi has a curve hugging fit with a twirly finish, sure to bring traffic to a halt!

The Stoplight Skirt is inspired by the fancy fashions in the London Street Style scene.  The maxi and midi versions are definitely fashion show fare, but we imagine they'll be grabbing these for everyday good feelings too!  The Girl on the Go pencil version is a tried and true, loved by girls everywhere, easy to dress up or down winner!

Everything in this collection plays off the Street Style theme.  From the names of the patterns to the fundamental designs.  From the detailed elements of each pattern to the photo shoot props.  From the locations to the fun story titles of each photo shoot.

And yes, there will be a fun lookbook (launching on October 14 along with the patterns) so you can see the patterns modeled and get inspired to sew yourself!

Come back every day this week as we slowly open the curtains on Project Street Style!
