I'm Katie and am equal parts excited and nervous for this season of Project Run and Play! I've been sewing since I was a little girl and thanks to some influential teachers, I got my Bachelors Degree in Home Economics Education with a minor in Clothing and Textiles. I spent a few years teaching high school sewing classes until my husbands job took us cross country. I now stay at home to take care of our 5 kids who keep me busy running from soccer to music lessons to basketball! We love to hike, camp, travel and ski as family. As we've eased out of the toddler years, I've found more time for sewing and have enjoyed making new associations in the sewing community.
