Project Happy Holidays: Ajaire from Call Ajaire

Today is our final reveal! Meet Ajaire and see the two patterns she contributed to our Project Happy Holidays Collection.

I'm Ajaire from Call Ajaire/DbCA and I'm excited to share with you the two patterns I've contributed to the newest collection! When we originally discussed having a "holiday" theme, I wanted to design a tailored coat for special occasions. With the cottage-core trend so popular right now I thought having a second, more casual option for an oversized, drapey cardigan was the way to go. And so the Cedar Coat and Cardi was born. This pattern has two fully-lined coat views and two drapey cardigan views, but all of them share the dramatic effect of a wide shawl collar designed for using a Luxe Cuddle© minky or faux fur.

Sized 12 months to 16 years, this pattern is great for all kids aged toddler to teen. I can't wait to share the amazing looks my testers have made using the Cedar pattern. Trust me, you'll want to stock up on the softest faux furs and Cuddle© minky to be ready for the release next week. Here's a sneak peek...

The Prancer Pull-On Jeans is a jeans pattern with all of the bells and whistles of a regular hard pants jeans, but without the zipper/waistband closure and added stretch for comfort. The views offer a skinny leg and a straight stovepipe leg to go with a pull-on curved waistband, sizing from newborn to 16 years. The topstitching details and minimal stretch fabric requirements make these more than a jegging, but your kids will love the comfort and style of these stretch jeans.

Now that you have seen all of the line drawings, which pattern do you think you will sew first? These patterns will be in the shop Monday, December 6.
