Project Under the Sea with PACountryCrafts

We hope you didn't forget about the Project Under the Sea fabric! Today Lindsay of PACountryCrafts is sharing what she made with Project Under the Sea fabric from Raspberry Creek Fabrics.

When I saw the Mermazing design I fell in love, but I couldn't decide which colorway to buy! I actually bought several and decided to do a fun coordinating look for my youngest daughters. They each got a short sleeve Lagoon top using double brushed poly in their favorite hues- Ocean and Mermaid. To complete the first outfit I made a pair of Rocky Shore tights with a high waistband and cropped to shorts length using lilac supplex from Mily Mae Fabrics. For my youngest daughter I went a little overboard and created a Lagoon bubble skirt using a mesh laundry bag for the top layer with "seaweed" and sequins between the layers. It is such a fun skirt!

My older daughter has a sporty style and she chose everything for her second outfit. I sewed the Sand N Surf Boardshorts using the Bubbles in Ocean design printed on boardshort fabric. I cropped them a bit for her preference. Her shirt is a double brushed poly Explorer Raglan made with the Fish with Monocle panel and Bubbles in White on the back. I made my youngest daughter's dress during the Lagoon testing. She begged for the fish fabric so I used it as the base of a Lagoon dress with a tulle overlay. I love how the fish are just peeking through a little bit.
