Let's get Season 24 started...with you!  The sew along is an opportunity for the sewing community to share their creations inspired by the Season 24 themes.  (Hint: It's also where we find a lot of talent for future Project Run & Play Seasons, so we want to see YOU participate!)

Here's how the sew along works this Season:

The sew along will last the whole Season
3 winners will be chosen
There will be great prize packages for each of the winners!
You can enter once or up to 4 times, for each/any of the themes.
The 3 winners will be chosen as follows:

1 random winner
1 winner chosen by the panel of advisors
1 "people's choice" winner chosen by popular vote (see instructions below)

To enter the giveaway for the "people's choice" use the hashtag #prp24sewalong on Instagram or Facebook.  Choose any or all of the themes and sew along!  The entry with the most likes will be the winner.

Here are the themes for Season 24:

Week 1: Lovely Layers

It’s that time of year again…time for layering up and down.  As they say practically everywhere this time of year…if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes because it’ll change!  This week you will design a look that is as flexible as the weather.

Week 2: Cut It Up

Surprisingly, or maybe not so much, the patchwork fashion trend is having it’s moment!  Is it really fashion forward if it’s going back to quilting roots?  This week you will create something big out of little things.

Week 3: All the World’s a Stage

Plays, musicals, and drama!  Let’s cast our cares away and impersonate a favorite character.  This week’s look will bring to life that exciting performance atmosphere.

Week 4: Signature Style

Design a look that best represents your own unique style, taste, and best showcases your skill set.

Each winner of the sew along will receive

$40 gift certificate from Raspberry Creek Fabrics

2 patterns from Coffee + Thread

2 patterns from the Project Run & Play shop

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  3. I don't know why more people don't sew-a-long with the themes. It is so much fun, and it forces me to think creatively. You know us Grandmothers have to keep those brain cells firing...as we want to stay young forever!
