January's Challenge: The Link-up Party

We are so excited to get this sewing party started this year!  You now know the tutorial, you know the rules but what you don't know is the prizes......we are super excited to announce that each monthly winner will be receiving over $100 prize package from our awesome sponsors, which we will announce next week.

But it's time to link up your creation made from or inspired by Alida's Bubble Dress.  You have until January 23rd at midnight to link up and then the voting on Alida's top picks will begin on Monday, January 26th through Wednesday January 28th.  After that we will announce our monthy Project Run and Play winner!

Can't wait to see what's been on your sewing table.....

  2. Working on a design right now. Didn't realize you need to only add the link once completed. Will update after completing. So excited to participate. May be I'll do it right the next time.

    1. You have until the 23rd to link up your projects and if you don't have a blog you can totally link them to a Flickr account!

  7. I'll miss the old format, but I'm just a turd with change ;) I'm loving seeing how creative people get, though. Got mine done today and will link up ASAP.

  8. I was also enjoying the old format. :( It would be nice to see a "one time" challenge between two bloggers on one outfit!! I do like sew alongs for somethings, but maybe it's the idea this time that I'm not to thrilled about. It would also be nice to have a general arena to post sewing outfits as we go...link a linky party for kids clothing??? Just a thought. I will have to check back next month for the other challenge. In the meantime...I'm secretly working on valentines day dresses.... hehehe. ;)

  9. Just finished checking out each and every bubble inspired creation! Wow! This turned out so perfectly, and I don't envy Alida in trying to narrow it down to 10. Thanks ladies for more inspiration!

  11. There are some very creative bubble entries. I picked out my top 10 today, and will be interested in comparing my list to the top ten selected by Alida.
