My Not-So-Sweet Dress

It has been horribly cloudy in Missouri lately, so I apologize for the blah pictures. Combining that with a cranky 2 year old who just wants to watch "Hootie and the Bees" (Beauty and the Beast) and you have a barely successful photo shoot.

This was the only decently clear picture I could come up with that didn't look horribly washed out. I used the Sweet Dress pattern- but I left out the elastic in the sleeves and shorten them. I also kept it about 6 inches shorter for a tunic length. I ruffled some strips of camo fabric and light green and layered them all around it and put a band of elastic in at her waistline to gather it slightly. It didn't turn out exactly as planned, but I like it and even better, my daughter loves it. The well-worn glitter shoes were another diy project from my personal blog. And these were the pictures I wish would have turned out better- just to prove Eden can work the camera.
