Project Watercolor Beach with Nikki: Bodhi Board Skirt and Ripley Swimmers

Hi, I'm Nikki from Bubby and Me Creations.  From a very young age, I’ve been sewing in one way or another.  After finishing school, I studied pattern drafting before securing a job at Lincraft and then moving onto Spotlight.  Overseas travel saw me working in a completely different direction in the corporate world…although I did buy a sewing machine while I was away!  When my eldest was a baby, I returned to sewing in a big way making sheets for him and friends.  Over the years, my business has made the transition from sheets to kid’s clothes to what my real passion is, PDF patterns and custom printed fabrics. I love the challenge of designing patterns; of making something that has a little bit of wow using easily explained techniques.  By adding custom fabric, it compliments my patterns and gives me a different creative outlet.

The Bodhi Board Skirt pattern is such a fun little skirt! It is designed for board shorts (peach skin) fabric, but of course you can use any woven fabric. The name Bodhi comes from a beach in Fingal Bay, Australia.

The Ripley Swimmers are a delightful swimwear pattern you're going to sew over and over. That darling ruffle on the straps and cross front just begs to be accentuated in so many ways.

Project Watercolor Beach is a collection of 10 patterns full of options and details, perfect for summer fun for both boys and girls.

These 10 patterns come in tops and bottoms, wovens and knits, layering pieces, separates, dresses, swimwear, and more!  The patterns have a wide selection of sizes available, from newborn through teen.
We'll see you right here MONDAY for the pattern collection launch!!!
