Announcement: Meet our Season 5 Designers!

Season 5 of Project Run & Play will officially begin on Monday, September 10th but (as always) we can't wait that long to share with you our talented line up of designers...so without further a do here is the line up for Season 5:

Justine from Sew Country Chick

Delia from Delia Creates

Rachel from Nest Full of Eggs

Kimbo from A Girl and a Glue Gun

Christina from 2 Little Hooligans

Lindsay from Lindsay, etc.

And joining them are your top two picks from the sew along Flickr group:

Haley from Welcome to the Mouse House

Heidi from Elegance & Elephants

Another great group right?
(And they really are a great group...so much goodness in such a small list.)
We know that these ladies will amaze us each and every week.

(Oh...and to find out what the weekly themes will be...and start sewing along already...check back in tomorrow when we will have the list posted!)

In kind of a related tangent...we have THE WORST time coming up with our final list of designers...our list of potential designers seems to grow and grow every season---especially with the addition of the sew along Flickr group.  (You should hear the um..."spirited" shall we say discussions that we have regarding who our next designers will be.)  Our main problem is that we love too many of you.

And while you all continue to make this decision so hard, it is also what we love about Project Run & Play...this opportunity that we have to see and share different styles, skills, viewpoints, and passions--all worthy and wonderful. 

Thank you for sewing along...thank you for following...thank you for sharing yourself with us.
We are looking forward to another fantastic season. 
It's guaranteed to be a good one!

    These ladies all look amazing - I can't wait to see the weekly themes and what all 7 of these designers come up with to meet each challenge. And I can't wait to sew along (to at least a couple challenges, I hope!)

    yikes! that is my name there, i guess it is official. now i am really scared. those girls are amazing and i cannot wait to get to know all of them better:) let the fun begin...i mean the sleepless nights begin. thanks again girls for choosing me to be part of this season, i am beyond honored.

    This is a great group! And it is wonderful that there are actually too many to choose from. I have never had someone my age (within 20 years) who I can sew with, so it is so wonderful to see so many of you out there. At least we can all sew together using the internet.

    I have been SO enjoying my time reading this blog, following the competitions, & expanding my sewing abilities along the way. I really hope to sew along for this round& one day to be a designer myself! Great group of women who will without question show us some fun projects. Thanks !!
