It's Friday...which means it's giveaway day!!!
Today you can enter to win a children's Teepee pattern from Simple Simon and Company.
The pattern is available HERE in paper version.
Or HERE in PDF version.
But today we are giving away one of each.
To enter to win just leave a comment telling us whether you prefer using paper or PDF patterns and why.
(And for an extra entry follow Simple Simon on Facebook or Instagram and leave us a comment telling us that!)
Good Luck!
I like paper since I don't have to tape all the printed pieces together, but I also like not having to store them with pdfs and being able to reprint if something happens to it.
ReplyDeleteI love the pdf, if i cut it by accident or if I use it too many times, I just print another!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to wait for a paper pattern to arrive, but I do prefer them. It is fun to have such a physical piece of potential!!
ReplyDeleteI like PDFs because of the instant gratification :) I also like having them printed on more durable paper instead of tissue paper.
ReplyDeleteI'm slowly coming to prefer PDF so I can reprint as necessary and easily use multiple sizes of the same pattern. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI prefer PDFs because I can scroll through my patterns online when I'm looking for inspiration and also being able to print out the pattern and cut out the right size for each of my kids without having to trace it each time.
ReplyDeleteI like PDFs better, I like having the ability to reprint them and they are much easier to store!
ReplyDeleteI follow you on fb and instagram :)
ReplyDeleteI like the instant gratification of printing a pattern when I need it.
ReplyDeleteI already follow Simple Simon on Facebook. Heading over to Instagram right now... ;)
ReplyDeleteI prefer PDF's for the ability to reprint. But I use both!

ReplyDeleteI prefer paper bc my printer is awful and cuts bottom edge off. I can take it to Office Depot but that can get expensive
ReplyDeleteI like paper, because I'm not a huge fan of taping all day...but I do own my fair share of printed out patterns.
ReplyDeleteI followed on FB and Insta!
ReplyDeleteIdeally, I love to use paper patterns, but PDFs are so convenient and instant gratification!

ReplyDeleteI like to start projects in the middle of the night, so PDFs are nice because I can get them even though everyone else is asleep.
ReplyDeleteI prefer pdf ... because i can't loose it and reprint if i want whenever i want :-)
ReplyDeleteI like using paper patterns because I trace the pattern size I'm using regardless of whether it's a paper or pdf pattern. I'm all for not taping the paper together!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of taping, but pdf is so easy to organize!
ReplyDeletePDFs for sure. Taping is annoying but I like having them organized on my computer!
ReplyDeleteWith clothing, I prefer paper pattern because of the multiple sizing. With other things, though, PDFs are my choice.
ReplyDeleteI prefer pdf patterns. Reprinting as many times as I need to is a huge plus, especially at the rate my kids grow!
ReplyDeleteI prefer paper patterns but am learning PDF printed patterns are just as easy to use. I don't mind taping the pieces together. I've also found PDFs offer instant gratification when ordering outside the US. No waiting for weeks for my purchase to arrive by snail mail!
ReplyDeleteI'm following Simple Simon on Instagram
ReplyDeleteI like paper pattern because I prefer to trace the pattern onto Swedish tracing paper.
ReplyDeleteI love paper the most! I love to open and feel and move the pieces around :)

I like pdfs because I can print them when I want.
ReplyDeleteFor kids patterns I prefer pdf's (not as many pages to put together!). For big patterns like this or adults, paper patterns are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI follow Simple Simon on FB and Instagram :)
ReplyDeleteI use either. But prefer paper.

I guess for this project, a paper pattern is best because there aren't multiple sizes. I typically prefer pdfs because it's easier to reprint than trace.
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer to use paper patterns so I don't have to use my printer and taping etc. But some of my favorite patterns are only PDF patterns so I use them.
ReplyDeleteI prefer paper because I keep them filed in an organized system. When I get PDF files, I print them and file them with the paper ones. Otherwise I'd never remember what I have...

ReplyDeleteUh, I would love to win this! Have had an eye on it since it came out! (And I prefer pdf for the ease of use)
ReplyDeleteI really prefer paper, but usually buy PDF because I'm an instant gratification kind of gal!

ReplyDeletePDF, because I have a bad habit of losing pattern pieces in my sewing room with all the projects going on.
ReplyDeleteI prefer printed, so I don't have to print them myself, but PDF is great if you want to make multiple sizes.
