Introducing...Project Jet Set!!! Meet the Saltillo Swimsuit and Cancun Cover Up

Today we are trilled to present you our next Project Run & Play collaboration in the form of a collection of patterns, designed by a talented group of designers, to create easy to wear and fun garments for children everywhere!

Project Jet Set

This delightful wardrobe collection contains 12 fun summer (and beyond!) patterns for all your child's adventures!

The 12 patterns come in woven & knits, tops & bottoms, layering pieces, separates, one pieces, swimwear, accessories and more.  The patterns have a wide selection of sizes available, from newborn through teen.

Through this week we'll be sharing a sneak peek of each pattern and it's designer.  Consider it your travel brochure for a very fun journey!

Today you get to see the 2 new patterns in the collection exclusive to the Project Run & Play logo.  These are the first SWIM patterns exclusive to our logo and are designed by Audrey and Jenny of Made of Starlite.

The Saltillo Swimsuit pattern

The Saltillo Swimsuit is a fun and feminine pattern! There are so many options, from basic streamline to all the frills, that you’ll find yourself sewing this pattern over and over again. The swimsuit has a straight, neckline with modest coverage. There are 4 options for the straps: shoulder ties, cross back, halter strap and halter ties. Ruffles can be added to the cross back and halter straps as desired. Leg ruffles can be added to the low rise leg openings. An optional flounce can be added to the neckline. One large or multiple small bows complete the feminine ensemble.

The Cancun Cover Up pattern

The Cancun Cover Up is one fun and funtional garment!  This garment is a study in geometric shapes, and a super functional cover up for after swimming or bathing. The boxy (rectangle) body can be made in 2 lengths, hip or knee length. There are two hood options, pixie (triangle) or regular (oval) shaped. The fun pocket (semi-circle) is perfectly sized for goggles, seashells, and other treasures. The placket (pentagon) makes throwing this on and off a breeze!  Use woven or knit fabric, or upcycle a towel to create one of the easiest garments you’ll ever sew for your child.

ALL the patterns in this collection will launch May 9th.   (Be sure to follow us on Instagram for a chance to win it before you can buy it...)

Everything in this collection plays off the Jet Set theme.  From the names of the patterns to the fundamental designs.  From the detailed elements of each pattern to the photo shoot props.  From the locations to the fun story titles of each photo shoot.

And yes, there will be a stunning lookbook launching at the end of the tour for massive levels of inspiration to see the patterns modeled and get inspired to sew yourself!

Come back every day this week as we journey to see each new pattern in the Project Jet Set collection.
