I can't believe school is starting again! It seems like summer is getting shorter and shorter every year!
These two are so excited to be back at school learning with amazing teachers and good friends.
I choose to use Kim Henries Made of Magic Line for our back-to-school looks. I love the colors and they were perfect for the vintage 60s vibe I was going for.
For Little Miss I made a Risu Dress with this darling teal floral print. with solid white jersey for bands. Shes still loves to wear dresses as much as I'll let her, and this dress is perfect for school with a little bit of sporty little bit of fancy look.
The Risu has a charming faux wrap back.
Because it gets chilly in the mornings, she needed a jacket to go with the dress. I made the Foliis Jacket out of this luxurious Bamboo Sweatshirt Fleece. And this is a treat to sew on and to wear! It's so soooo soft! and has matching Ribbing for bands. I love it when the ribbing and fabric are PERFECT matches!!
For my little buddy I went with a Lemon tee. I wanted the retro ringer style and he wasn't thrilled with the pink in this print so we turned it horizontal and sewed the stripes on. We Love how it turned out!
I went with the Jingle Joggers from the shop because they are my tried and true. I added the pockets and this time I threw on a little knee patch because this child is always down on his knees playing legos.
We went with the Clay French terry for the pants and the bands on the top and its such a great neutral color and perfect for fall!
Thanks for having me Project Run & Play and Raspberry Creek! Its always an honor to work with such great patterns and fabrics!
Happy Back to School!
