I just love the story behind the oufit - how you asked your daughter about your least likely thing to sew for her....and then you did just that. That's truly a dare! The outcome is just amazing. The way you've managed to turn some rather girly pink and glittery fabric into garments that are still very much 'you' - elegant and aesthetical. The scalloped detail that you've used on both blouse and shorts are so brillant and beautifully made. Obviously the garments look beautiful together, but I can also imagine the shirt styled with jeans and the shorts worn with a cute tee. Very well done!
