A lot of people have been asking about using a different format for submitting their designs each week. I've been giving some thought to a Linky tool, but I'm not sure that's the route I want to go (plus I just read that they will be charging- which is a definite no for me as I make zero money off of this blog and have no desire to spend more). Instead, I created a flickr group for PR&P. You are still welcome to leave links in the comments to your designs- I will be looking through the comments and flickr group when reader features come around. Thanks everyone for your input and comments!
Also, I realized that with extending the voting until Monday at midnight and announcing the theme on Tuesday, that didn't give readers much time to design things last week, so... this week's theme is:
Retro or vintage inspired designs this week! I'm excited to see what our designers and you readers come up with! Have fun!
Great idea! And thanks for the heads up on the theme - YEAH!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm loving this idea! I joined & submitted some pictures to the new Flickr group! Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with! I love this kind of stuff! :-)
ReplyDeleteOoooooh! My favorite!
ReplyDeleteFun! Thank you for the early notice.. I was hoping to get started tonight..
ReplyDeleteWould you rather we post to the flicker group, then?
ReplyDeletePlaying along has become an obsession... I can't not participate!

Man..I was awe struck when I saw the other submissions this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm not worthy!
But it's fun, and it's only my 2nd attempt to make garments without a pattern!

Mine's not self drafted but a vintage pattern from 1964, it turned out so cute and very retro looking!
