Simplicity has generously offered 3 skirt entrants, a gift bag of 5 patterns of their choice along with some great trims that they have to offer.
While browsing the selection, I found quite a few that I would pick......but of course, the lucky winners get to pick their own!
I know this is blog is about children's wear, but I can't resist this blouse. I love the style, the classic feel, but yet how modern it looks. It would be so great tucked into a high-waisted pencil skirt.
I also love this Lisette pattern. It is so darling with the high-low skirt. My brain is already thinking of all the variations that you could do with this look.
Isn't this pinafore dress/top cute? Again, the possibilities are endless with this pattern too.
And two final ones that I am loving as well. This gunny sack dress on the left is so cute. Modern-looking, but so comfy for a little girl to wear.
I couldn't leave out this one. Well, because I just bought it. I have been thinking about a Fall short trench coat for my 7 year old and was going to draft my own. But when I saw this one......I bought it immediately. It is seriously everything I was envisioning but with the drafting work already done. Thanks to Burda and Simplicity for that!!! And I may be making a longer one too-it is such a great classic-done-well coat.
