They helped me enormously when my husband passed away two years ago, each taking time from their own lives to stay with me and help me through the difficult times. To this day, they each reach out to me every day in different ways, showing me that life can be joyful again, even on my worst days.

I am blessed to have so many things to be thankful for: a wonderful husband of 33 years, 2 great kids, a beautiful paid-for home, loyal friends, a sweet dog, good health and a God who loves me no matter what!

I'm thankful for my biological mother giving me up for adoption instead of the alternative. I'm thankful to be surrounded by loving friends and family. Lastly, I'm thankful for the internet and library without either I would have not learned to sew.
