Welcome to week 2 everyone!
We are so happy today---it's week two and guess what? We don't have to say goodbye to anyone!!!
(Remember...for AllStars we are making everyone stick around the ENTIRE time...and we love it.)
So that means all we have to do today is announce winners, prizes, this week's theme and then start the link party.
So let's get going.
After the top secret hidden votes were tallied (boy, did you all come out to vote and boy was it was a very close count) you chose girl.Inspired's Petal Splash Gown as your favorite art inspired work!
Congratulations Stefanie!!!
For being this week's winner you will receive a $100 dollar gift certificate to Jo Totes, where you can choose one of their beautiful camera bags....like this beautiful one, or this one, or the one I am am saving my pennies for. Thanks Jo Totes for sponsoring PR&P!!!!
And as for our sew along ladies...we just have to say that this weeks looks were some of the best we have ever seen. So creative, so thoughtful, so cool! You all really out did yourselves this week.
That being said you made our sew along judges job so very hard but they finally voted and our winner this week is:
The Van Gogh inspired peasant dress by Dude You Rock My Socks.
Congratulations! For being the judges choice this week you will receive a $25 gift certificate to The Fat Quarter Shop, where you can find all sorts of fabric--like this or this that I keep eyeing for my shopping cart.
Now as for this week's theme---it's all about the chevron.
Our All Stars were all sent a package weeks ago that contained some chevron fabric of their choice from the fabulous Riley Blake Designs. They were then asked to create their looks based on that fabric. (And we can't see what they've come up with this time!)
As for you...if you'd like to sew along (and we hope that you do) create a look that incoorporates a chevron design...and how you do it is up to you!
(If you need a great place to find chevron fabric you can get it HERE or you can design your own.)
Good luck! And let's start linking!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats Stef! Such beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a hard job picking winners. I think both the all stars and the sew along crew did outstanding jobs. I went to every all star's blog and read more about their creations. Thanks everyone for sharing!
