It's a new year and we are gearing up for a new season of Project Run and Play and so we thought that now would be a good time for a giveaway!!!!
Today's giveaway is a 5 yard bundle of our "Four Corners" fabric line that we designed for Riley Blake Designs. (It comes in 3 different color waves and the winner gets to choose which color wave they like best.)
To enter all you have to do is leave us a comment telling us either what one of your favorite PRP challenges from the past has been or a challenge you would like to see in the future.
That's it.
But...if you would like another chance to win leave another comment telling us if you follow PRP on facebook.
And...if you want one more chance to win leave another comment telling us if you follow Simple Simon and Company on facebook.
Good luck and we will announce the winner on Monday!
I've loved the most the refashion and upcycle challenge, but I would love to see a challenge about film styles.
ReplyDeleteI love the PRP challenges, keep going, you rock!

ReplyDeleteI just found this through someone I follow on Facebook and I am SUPER EXCITED to follow along! Stoked for the sparkly glitter challenge! As a Mom of boys this is hard to include sparkly glittery stuff, but they love sparkly glittery stuff just as much as girls! Going to Facebook now to find and follow! - HerlyMom aka Amanda Herlinget

ReplyDeleteI love everything inspired by books, and there are so many ways you could create a challenge- there is the fairy tale inspired theme, or a character inspired theme, or even a challenge to use text/alphabet print... I also love fantasy inspired...
ReplyDeleteOh, and challenges that you can use to make BOY clothes. Geez, I mostly sew for boys, so all the sparkly and girly themes are hard.
DeleteI'd love to see an "everyday dress up" challenge - clothes based on super dressy styles that are toned down for everyday wear.
ReplyDeleteI love anything UPCYCLED! So anything with hand-me-down or up cycling has been my favorite challenge to see. So much talent out there sewing away for kids.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite theme is a tie between the candy one and the Saturday morning cartoon. I would love to see a board game theme. Or did I miss it when it was done?

ReplyDeleteI think it would be fun to see a retro challenge -- anything from Marie Antoinette to Elvis Presley.

ReplyDeleteI only found PRP last year, and I sewed along with all but the last challenge. The first one, the Bubble dress will be the most memorable for me.

ReplyDeleteI love the themes more so than having to use a specific pattern. The Frances Suzanne month last year was my favorite.

ReplyDeleteI loved the candy inspired challenge from a few years ago. My daughter wore the shirt and belt I created for years but sadly never wore the skirt again. Sew and lean I gues!
ReplyDeleteI loved the recycle/up cycle theme! I love it all!
ReplyDeleteI love the creative themes you all come up with. One of my favorites was doing the "artist" inspired outfit.
ReplyDeleteOooo, me too!

P.S. I was just checking out the Four Corners Line yesterday for the Metallic/Shiny Challenge. I like the gold metallic accents in the fabric.
My favorite past challenge has been the "Fabric manipulation" challenge and the "art challenge" was so much fun too!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the Fabric Manipulation challenge. It was so fun seeing what people came up with and I have always liked doing some hand work on clothes.

ReplyDeleteAny themes for boys would be awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI really love signature style because I know the clothes I make are things we're going to use over and over because it's our style!
ReplyDeleteAll your challenges are great, I love the up cycle ones because that is something I am always inspired by.
ReplyDeleteA boy challenge would be fun, but also maybe an evening gown/dress up challenge. But then again a signature style is good because it's my style. I don't know. I think I love them all!
ReplyDeleteHas there been a Kids' Choice challenge? Where your child picks a favourite book/toy/character/colour and you have to sew based on whatever they come up with? I'd like that!

ReplyDeleteLoved the white sheet and upcycling challenges.
ReplyDeleteWould like to participate in more boys or gender neutral based challenges, retro/vintage inspired and maybe a 'dress up' challenge where kids who would wear 'dress up' anywhere can wear 'dress up' inspired everyday wear.
I love incorporating other crafts into sewing (the embroidery!), upcycling, something that's suitable for boys, or a theme about a certain look.
