Hey! It's Karly from Paisley Roots here. During the summers my girls are interested in wearing one thing: DRESSES. So today I'm sharing with you some of our favorite patterns for the summer.
We'll start with woven patterns.
Clockwise from Top Left: Blue Ridge Dress, Mini Southport Dress, Mori Dress & Top, Molly Scoop Back Dress, Georgia Vintage Dress, Clara Top & Shorts
These are our "fancy" faves. Depending on the fabric and notions you choose, you can make these more for "play" or completely jazz them up for a night-on-the-town or to attend a wedding.
Clockwise from Top Left: Desert Rose Dress & Tunic, Roller Skate Dress, Tweet Tweet Dress, Sally Top & Dress
We of course have a huge list of knit dresses as well! We love having fun features and cool design elements and all of these patterns bring that. I'm also in love with all of the knit fabric designs being more readily available.
Clockwise from Top Left: Uptown/Downtown Dress, Balloon Fold Dress, Legends Top & Dress, Stellar Tunic & Dress
Needing to mix some woven fabrics with knits? These dresses have you covered. We're also dying to make the few we haven't yet!
Clockwise from Top Left: Blue Ribbon, Lulu Dress & Top, Homegrown Tank Dress, Tabitha's Knit T-shirt Dress
And lastly, some new releases that have caught our eyes.
Clockwise from Top Left: Xandan Dress, Kelsey Dress & Tunic, Adelyn's Scoop Back Top & Dress, Sydney Sider Dress
Are there any dress patterns that are your faves? We're always looking for fun new patterns to try!
Happy Dress Sewing!

Nice! I love seeing my options laid out before me. That Teepee dress is still my favorite. I want one for myself. Luckily that pattern comes in women's sizes, haha!
ReplyDeleteI love the Tea Party dress by Peek-a-Boo patterns. It can go from super casual to super fancy, and I've used it for both knits and wovens, although it's designed for wovens. Peek-a-boo has lots of other great dresses too.
