Today Carin of Art Bella Creates is kicking off the tour with an amazing little back to school capsule for her daughter. Carin used patterns from the Project Run & Play shop and fabric from Raspberry Creek Fabrics to create this collection:

Tween sewing this year has been quite the adaptive challenge. Not only does my Bella have a very specific style but we have also hit some changes in body big time. Fortunately we had some fabulous fabrics from Raspberry Creek Fabrics and an extensive range of wonderful patterns from the Project Run and Play shop. When choosing patterns I went back to the very first capsule pattern collection (Project Farmer's Market) and tried to pick ones I haven’t sewn before. I still have many more that I have to make my way through. I wanted to make sure I have a basic tee, versatile pants, a skirt, a dress and a jacket/cardigan. The amount of fabric choices was endless and I it was hard to choose my favorites. I love that all of the back to school line is very versatile and will work for a wide age range as well as being unique and neutral enough to easily mix and match. I have set up a nice base with these 5 items and will be able to build from here on.
