November Feature Pattern: Prose & Poetry Cargo Joggers

It's November which means a new pattern feature! This month we are featuring Prose & Poetry Cargo Joggers

We love this pattern because it has pant and skirt options! It is written for woven, non-stretch fabrics like linen, cotton, rayon blends, chambray, corduroy, or lightweight denim. It has a great size range, too: 1-16.

The Prose and Poetry are inspired by comfortable days curled up with a mug of hot cocoa and pockets full of snacks.  The name Prose and Poetry plays on the playful push and pull that happens when trying to decide on whether to read prose or poetry, or wear your favorite pants or skirt!

The Prose and Poetry Joggers were designed by Audrey from Skirt Fixation
Audrey is a mother of 9 children which is her “real job!”  When she’s not changing diapers, fixing meals, doing laundry, or snuggling the baby, she also blogs over at Skirt Fixation.   Because she’s 6 feet tall, she’s sewed for most of her adult life.  She adores sewing for her children and is constantly inspired by the jaw-dropping designers created for children on Project Run & Play!  After helping out and learning the ropes as Virtual Assistant for 2 years, in 2018, Audrey took over this inspiring and amazing community event.

We will be doing a sew a long all November for P&P and hope you will join us! We will post weekly checkins in the PR&P Fan group on Facebook. Follow along on all of our weekly posts by sharing your progress and you will be entered to win a free pattern from our shop

Join our newsletter to receive the discount code for this pattern. P&P will be on sale for $3 off during the month of November.

Woven joggers are very in fashion right now. We love these from H&M in animal print or these camouflage ones from Old Navy. Some of the pattern testers even left out the hem elastic and made cool cargos. Those pockets are perfect for kids who love to stash things. Which view will you make first?

Gather your supplies, download the pattern and come join us in the sew a long!

If you'd like a quick tee to go with your joggers or skirt, we suggest the Easy Street Tee, also designed by Audrey. This dolman sews up really fast and will make a great outfit when paired together.
