Today we are excited to welcome Monica from Mamemimo to the Pantone Party!
Thank you very much for inviting me again to the super event of the year. The Pantone Party is one of my favorite projects and the color chosen for this year, Viva Magenta, looks spectacular to me: vibrant, energetic, vigorous, brave, and optimistic.
My youngest daughter loves pink and red in all its shades so I knew right away that the outfit I would sew would be for her.
Choosing fabrics from Minerva's extensive catalog was no easy task. I started by choosing a plain Minerva Core activewear lycra in a deep magenta color, then I found an exquisitely patterned Art Gallery Fabrics jersey knit fabric that I ended up pairing with a grey sweatshirt to "muffle" a little of the burst of color. Working with these 2 high-quality fabrics has been a dream.
As always, for my little girl, I choose knit patterns that are basic enough to sew over and over again. Patterns that allow her to play freely and not have to worry about staining or the garment not being comfortable. I found the FRANCES leggings, RITA dress and GEORGE sweatshirt to be a perfect combination.
For the photos I was inspired by a famous BANKSY artwork "Girl With Balloon".
We are super happy with the result. What do you think?
We here at Project Run and Play think it is AWESOME!!!
Thank you so much to Minerva for this beautiful fabric!

We still have a few more guests coming to the Pantone Party! Hooray!
