Hello everyone!!! My name is Meka and I live in the southernmost part of Louisiana! We arguably have THE BEST food lol! I have one kiddo who is also my little best friend! Her name is Elise and she will soon be 13 this April! I started sewing when Elise was a baby. I made simple things like adding cute fabric prints to burp cloths. My sister gifted me a $25 sewing machine and a sewing class! From there I’ve learned all the basics on how to read patterns, cut fabric properly, and sew curves! It took me a few years and lots of failed attempts before it finally clicked! I was introduced to the Facebook sewing world and learned so much from all of you aspiring and established sewists and designers! I’m in complete awe and filled with utmost gratitude by the feel of community and family!
