Today we are throwing the spotlight on the Seafoam Skirt!
Though it may not be the quickest sew out there, this pattern fully embraces the ruffled skirt trend that we've been seeing Ev.Ry.Where. lately!
This skirt features two lengths: knee length and maxi length. The ruffles can either be wide or narrow, which gives two completely different looks. The skirt features a wide knit waistband with hidden elastic, for extra comfort.

Aside from the waistband, this skirt can be made with virtually any fabric! Most of our testers used knit fabric, but a few ventured out to lace and tulle. 😍 Adding trim to the bottom edge of the ruffles adds some definition and great body to lighter fabrics too!

While any fabric may be used for the skirt lining, we definitely found a lightweight woven fabric to be the simplest option to work with. Sewing rows and rows of ruffles is already an exercise in patience, and trying to sew them to stretch fabric made the experience exponentially more so. 😉

Please enjoy the eye candy from our awesome testers and team!!
