Week Two: Candy Inspired Looks (And Week One Results!)

Hello everyone and welcome to Week 2 of Project Run and Play!!!!  This week it's all about the candy....but first we need to give you the results from last week.

After the combined judges' scores and the reader poll,  the winner of week #1 is
Lexi Made with her Tulle, Wool and Polka Dots look!

Congrats Alexia!!

And after the totals we are so sad to lose our friend Suz of sewpony. She did an absolutely phenomenal job and it's hard each week to say goodbye to someone with so much talent......it really doesn't get any easier the longer we do this.

But luckily, Suz is not leaving Project Run and Play empty handed.  She will receive a $25 gift certificate to.....

so she can find some amazing knits for future sewing projects!

A sincere thank you to Suz and all the other designers who are putting themselves out there.....we know how difficult it can be so please send some love her way.  Click HERE to check out all the other happenings over at sewpony.

We do have one more winner to announce this week....our SEW-ALONG Winner.  Which, believe you me, was NOT any easy task for those judges either.  There were 80 outfits linked up last week....which made for some long deliberations.

But deliberate they did and the winner is......

 Congrats Karly!!!

She will receive a $25 gift certificate to

Thanks to Lowpricefabric.com for being such an awesome sponsor of PR&P!

And now on to WEEK 2:  Candy-Inspired Outfits!

We can't wait to see what you all have been sewing that is inspired by a love of all things sugar coated....and I just have this feeling that it's going to be a great week.

The linky party will open today and close Thursday night at 8 pm (MDT) and tomorrow you will get to see the designer's looks when the voting begins bright and early.

Are you ready to link up?  Hooray....because we are ready to see them!

  9. I'm thrilled to be able to stick around in the competition at least one more week! Thank you for your kind comments. It's definitely a very nerve racking experience sharing something you worked so hard on to so many people to look at and judge. I know we all have worked so hard and I think everything the designers and the sew along designers have made are just amazing! I love all the support and kind comments everyone gives to one another! Keep up the great work everyone!
