Ajaire sews Project Watercolor Beach

Today Ajaire gets to share with you some of the garments she sewed from the Project Watercolor Beach pattern collection!

Here's some thoughts about the collection from Ajaire:

I was born and raised on Cape Cod, so the beach is something that’s always been a part of my life. When I found out the theme for this collaboration would be Watercolor Beach I was super excited. Every true beach capsule needs three things to get you through the summer: a bathing suit, cover-up, and a hoodie.  I already had all of those types of patterns in the works, so it was just a matter of deciding which would interact the best with the rest of the patterns in the collection.

The Ultramarine Cover-Up works great as a casual piece to throw on over your suit for your way to and from the beach or while walking the boardwalk and that oversized hood is just right for covering your beach hair on a windy day.

The Chromium Cropped Hoodie is essential for those chilly summer evenings or for early morning walks on the beach and the short sleeve option offers just enough warmth for a late August bonfire on the beach.

Please head over to Call Ajaire for lots more photos and details!

All this week, the 6 designers of Project Watercolor Beach will be sharing glimpses of what we sewed from the collection.  You're going to be SEW inspired!
