These are a pair of pajamas that I made for Grace last year. I bought the thermals at the local dollar store. ($1 for the top and $1 for the bottoms) But because they were blue Grace wasn't about to wear them. So I added some eyelet and silver lace---around the cuffs, down the middle, and swirled into flowers. After that she called them her Cinderella jammies and they became one of her most worn pair.
These pajamas were super affordable and very easy to make. If you are a beginning seamstress this is a great project to tackle---especially if you want to try your hand at Christmas pajamas (a tradition here in my family).
All you need are some plain pajamas and some trim. Easy! I'm actually planning on making more of them again---and soon---the season of warm jammies is upon us and these have become family favorites.
PS---Thank you to everyone that linked up to our very first sewing for children link party. It was so fun to see everyone's great ideas and projects. We are looking forward to this new Friday tradition.
So cute! I need to get to the dollar store. Stat.
