Designer Judges----Who are they and what do they do?

It's time to start getting ready for Season 4 of Project Run and Play.
So let's begin with an introduction to our designer judges.

We have three lovely ladies whom I'm sure you are all familiar with:
 Katy from No Big Dill,

Shannon from luvinthemommyhood,

and
Dana from MADE.

(Pretty great group huh?)

We love these women.  They are strong, creative, and talented.  And we appreciate their input very much.

So....what is it that they do exactly?
Well, I'll tell you.

Every week of the competition each of these judges individually critique all the designers looks and then score them on various points  (things like wearablity and craftsmanship).

These scores are then saved until Sunday night when they are combined with the popular voting numbers in a massive math equation of doom where the highest and lowest scoring designs are found and then posted first thing Monday morning.

Like I said, we really appreciate what they do.  They bring with them experience, an eye for good design, and the ability to give unbiased scores.
How lucky we are to have them.

If you haven't already, check in on their blogs---they always offer such beautiful photos and wonderful ideas.

And we'll see you again tomorrow when we'll introduce you to our sew along judges.

  1. Ooooo I'm feeling very excited about doing this all again! I didn't enter the designer auditions because I can't commit the time at the moment - but I'm definitely joining in the sew-a-longs!!! Yippee!
