Hi there, my name is Adrianna and I co-blog over at Crafterhours with Susan.
I'm excited to be here at PR&P for Skirting the Issue not only because it's a big honor, and we Crafterhours girls have a thing for skirts, but because it's the second sewing-for-charity tutorial I've been able to do this year and it just feels right to do what I can with what I've got. Wow, longest run-on sentence ever.
My other tutorial + pattern for charity is the Racerback Dress.
And if you're looking for more skirt tutorials, we're pretty loaded. For the past 3 years we've hosted Skirt Week, and each year we (and some super famous guest bloggers) produce new skirt tutorials. Here are the ones we've done:
clockwise from the top: Milkmaid Skirt for Grown-up Girls, Shirred Voile Skirt, Patchwork Mini, Dresden Plate Skirt, Milkmaid Skirt, Pieced A-line.
Ok, on to today's project. With the guidelines to make it simple and appropriate for ages 0 through adult, I came up with the Breezy Linen Skirt.
It's really just an elastic waist rectangle skirt with a little mascara and lipstick. But we girls do love a makeover!
Head on over to Crafterhours to get the full tutorial! Thank you so much Elizabeth and Liz for hosting this wonderful event and inviting me to play along too!
<3 thanks for the fabulous tutorial!
