Meet the Designers: Vanessa from LBG Studios

Hello! I'm Vanessa and I blog over at {lbg studio}. A bit about me:

 

• I'm a mom to an almost 5 year old little girl named Sydney. I usually call her Syd and she definitely keeps me on my toes!

• I originally went to college to study Graphic Design and Photography but eventually graduated with a degree in Radiologic Technology. After a brief stint as a Rad Tech, I became a stay at home mom when my kiddo was born.

• I'm a part time photographer these days and spend most of my free time sewing, designing sewing patterns, and chasing Syd around with my camera.

• I'm an Army brat with a German mum and have lived all over the place; most recently (as in the last 21 years) the Deep South aka Alabama. I still feel a little like a fish out of water...

• Things I love: my sewing machine, my camera, my iMac, sushi, books, coffee, and sleep

• Despite several attempts to learn how to sew while in high school and college, I didn't really get the hang of it and stick with it until after Syd was born. I'd say I'm mostly self taught via the internet and all the amazing sewing/craft blogs out there. Blogging followed shortly thereafter. That led to wanting better photos for my blog and a renewed interest in photography...

And that's how I ended up here participating in PR&P! I'm very excited to be a part of this and look forward to spending some quality time with my sewing machine :)
