Season 19 RESULTS!!!

Season 19 is over, and that brings all the feels!!!  So many amazing pieces were designed, sewn, photographed, blogged and most importantly, WORN!!!  Here are the results for this Season.

1st Place:

Here's what Ellie of Ellie Whittaker, our celebrity guest judge, had to say about her Signature Style Creation:

So much work in these dresses!!! And I love these palette and the Santorini vibes! It’s true - it can be really hard to remember what you ‘signature’ style is when you’re used to designing for others. I love that the designer has considered their own happy place and grown these designs from there. The dusty-pink, delicate florals, chambray and trims make for some really interesting textures that flow seamlessly together as well as being on-trend elements at the moment. There is so much to comment on with these designs: so much exquisite detail (the embroidery! Wow!). However, as I am not an accomplished sewer but an artist, I’m likely more qualified to comment on the aesthetic appeal of the dresses. All of the dresses alone are incredible in design and I’m sure any little girl would love twirling in them! The vintage elements have been coordinated really well with clean lines without making these simply ‘vintage’ dresses but ‘modern vintage’. Simple additions that set the designs apart. Beautifully styled, too. Despite the use of many beautiful trims, my two favourite details would be the open backs and the tie-up front - the overall shapes of the pieces.
