Hi there!! I'm Kari of That's-Sew-Kari. My husband and I live in North Carolina along with our two beautiful girls that are growing up way too quickly. I'm a preschool teacher to 17 adorable (and hilarious) 3 year olds by day and sewing magician by night. My girls often wake up to find something new to wear displayed on the mannequin. They are both my muses and my biggest cheerleaders.
I started sewing when my youngest was about 18 months old when I treated myself to a sewing machine for my birthday. Little did I know when I bought my machine, just how much I'd enjoy this creative outlet. I fell in love with adding details, creating my own spin, learning to tailor it to my daughters' sizes, and the photography of it all.
I actually began my blog so I could enter a sewing contest (with my first ever dress I'd sewn...lol) and it's evolved from there. Over the years, I've kept busy with pattern testing, guest blogging and most recently, strike sewing. I work best with deadlines yet love to procraftinate. I'm highly competitive and tend to do my best work under pressure.
I am so excited to participate in this season of Project Run & Play and cannot wait to see everyone's interpretation of each week's theme.
