Today we're going to focus on 30+ ways to incorporate piecing into children's clothing. What is piecing you ask? Piecing is taking small (and sometimes very small) pieces of fabric and sewing them together to create a garment. Piecing is the PERFECT way to use up smaller cuts of fabric from your stash!
Prepare to be inspired!!!
Audrey used the Noel Dress pattern and patterns from the new Botanist line from Art Gallery Fabrics to piece a quilt square and incorporate it into the front bodice.
Audrey also made a Fawn Face mask, which while technically not piecing, used very small pieces of fabric! And we can't go on without a collective sigh for that beautiful Fashionista Jacket.
Of course we have to start off with the Season 24 theme: Cut It Up! First of all Amanda sewed pieced jeans, a pieced sweatshirt, pieced bag and scarf.
Randi sewed a pieced dress, pieced skirt, and 2 pieced cardigans for the Cut It Up theme.
For the Cut It Up theme, Fey sewed a stunning patchwork dress!
And last one from the Cut It Up theme but definitely not least, Katie sewed a pieced vest, blouse with a pieced yoke and pieced skirt for her daughter, plus a pieced jacket for her son.
