Project Run and Play: Mini Season 3: Round 2 Results

It was such a close match-up again this week! The public voting was back and forth all week with just a few votes separating the two. Both designers did such an amazing job that it is no wonder!

Amanda's look was my favorite, and the perfect back to school look for a kindergartner. I loved how all of the pieces were not only beautifully crafted, but could work on their own to get extra wear through the season. The addition of the pom poms to the sleeves were super adorable and helped with giving that southern boutique look that I'm used to seeing. The shorts turned out so beautifully. Scallops can be difficult to sew neatly, and these were perfection. I love all of the changes made to the shorts to get the desired look. It was truly worth it. Additionally, All the accessories were such a great touch and showed her versatility from a craftsmanship perspective- sewing, jewelry, bow making, vinyl work, wow! I also loved the mix of fabrics for the pouch, and all the chosen materials for the outfit. The look came together superbly. Cohesive, creative, beautifully sewn, age appropriate, and comfortable.
