Meet the Designer: Jennifer from JCasa Handmade

I am Jennifer Casa [mama + maker + homebody + rocker + dreamer].

We live in Ohio, nestled between the city and the country, where I knit, sew, cook, craft with my daughters, design, write, make music with my husband, snap lots of pictures, and write about all that good stuff on - stop by and say hello!
Being a part of the craft community has empowered me to pursue what I love doing, and discover yet another course illuminated along the path of my life.  I am forever grateful for the friendships, the support and enthusiasm, and the encouragement of others who share a love of handmade.
I enjoy making things by hand and find inspiration in everyday life.   We are casual, jeans + t-shirt people, (and broken-in jeans, at that), and I am a big fan of keeping things simple.  I have an affinity for incorporating vintage + antique textiles, as well as original needlework and printing into my designs.  Being invited to participate in Project Run and Play is a delightful and exciting challenge for me, and I look forward to being a part of this journey with all of you!
I believe in positive thinking, playing fair, being kind, getting up when I trip and fall, learning from life's hiccups, and finding enjoyment in every speck of life.  I feel it is important to make something special every day - and to make every day something special.  xoxo
