2019 Sew Along News!

First of all, we need to announce the winner for the Celebrations Around the World sew along.

Cozy and Cute by Lacramioara Snow on Facebook sewed this adorable winter celebration look!

And now let's discuss the format for the sew along in 2019!  As we shared earlier, in 2019, Project Run & Play will be adventuring around the world with each Season in a different location!  The designers, sponsors, celebrity judges, and even some of the themes will be specific to a certain area of the world.

However, as usual, the sew along will be open to everyone in any location.  BUT, the format is changing.  We've noticed the participation in a weekly sew along to be declining, and when we asked for opinions on why, the overwhelming response was that you just don't have enough time to sew along with each theme.  And we totally understand that!  Life can be so full...

So for now, the sew along will change to this format:

1 sew along for the whole Season
4 winners
Huge prize packages for each of the winners!
Enter once or up to 4 times, for each/any of the themes

The 4 winners will be chosen as follows:
1 random winner
1 "people's choice" winner chosen by popular vote
2 winners chosen by the panel of advisors

(Stay tuned for the new 2019 panel of advisors announcement!)

Leave a comment, what do you think of this new format?

  8. I love the idea. I haven't been sewing along as much as I'd like for that same reason. I just don't have the time for sewing as I had a few years ago =(
    Hopefully it'll be easier now.
