Wendy of W. Pratt Crafts

Hello, hello! I’m Wendy, the W of W Pratt Crafts. I am excited to be here again for this mini season of Project Run and Play! Since my last appearance on PRP I've been keeping busy continuing to sew and have added "designer" as one of the hats I now wear, besides that of wife, mother, friend, chauffeur... I was excited to join the Phat Quarters design team in 2018 and am even more excited to begin 2021 under the new name Pier Ave. Sewing Patterns!

When I'm not sewing, my family likes to get outside and enjoy the area we live in (as decided for us by the US military). From hiking and skiing, to dirt bike riding it's little wonder the outdoors has become an inspiration for some of my designs. I hope you enjoy what I've created and can find a bit of inspiration to help fuel your own crafting passion as we begin a new year. Hello! My name is Carissa and I am the brains behind Love, Hazel Grace Designs. I live outside of Bloomington, IL with my husband – Aaron - and my three amazing children – Samuel, Johanna and Hazel.

I am an attorney who as of January 1, 2021 just opened my own office but I have been sewing and creating since I can remember at my mom and both my Grandma’s knees! Since Johanna was a little girl I have made so much of her wardrobe and even had a stint designing doll clothes for Ellie Inspired in 2013. I love to mash up patterns and make what my little girls and my son desire! I have been designing clothes for my children for more than 10 years! Recently I started blogging about my sewing and crafting adventures as well!

I am looking forward to this challenge and this time you hopefully will get to meet all 3 of my kids (that is is the plan so let's see what actually gets sewn up!)
