More than a year ago I started buying these little kitchen trivets and using them to make different kinds of hair accessories for Grace.
The first kind I made (and I made A LOT of them) looked like this:

This is the one that I made to match Gracie's Easter outfit.
Most recently I've been using trivets to make these:

But now I'm thinking it's time to make a holiday version...
...that's what I'll be working on tonight and if all goes well I'll be posting it very soon.
I have some ideas but am not sure yet what the final product will look like. All I know is that it will involve a trivet and a bird of some sort.
