20 Ideas for Sewing Kids Holiday Clothes

 Today we are taking a look back at some outfits that our Project Run and Play designers have sewn over the years that might inspire your holiday sewing!

Abigail of The Sewn Edge made meaningful and adorable Christmas ensembles for her children. I bet they had a lot of fun with the crowns!




Irene from Froo and Boo made memories and a beautiful outfit for the Winter Wonderland challenge.



Another adorable ensemble from that week was created by Ashley and Emily from Frances Suzanne. This vintage style is so precious!!!




The very first week of Project Run and Play competition also had a Winter Wonderland theme! They are all amazing so you should definitely check it out! Kelly of Sewing in No Man's Land created this sweet ruffled set.



Do you prefer dressy looks for your kids' holiday outfits? In Season 3, Jessica of Running with Scissors was inspired by 1940s fashion when designing these elegant outfits!



For Boys' Week in Season 6 Shannon from Little Kids Grow sewed a very stylish boy outfit- and that hat!!!




Sherri from Mami de Sofiona sewed this stunning dress (plus a coat!) You definitely want to go see that!



This fur trimmed plaid coat is amazing!!! Griet from Emma en Mona sewed this classy ensemble.




During the Handmade Holidays series, Kat of Sew Chibi made this adorable Umaru shirt!



Ajaire made the cutest matching sister PJs with the Nini Noni Nightwear pattern!



Melissa from Rebel & Malice sewed this very cozy Infinite A-Line Dress!



Jenn of A Jennuine Life sewed a faux fur Puffin Vest and coordinating Janie Dress!



The buffalo plaid week from season 14 has lots of ideas if you prefer that theme for Christmas.

Elizabeth from The College Seamstress sewed a cozy lumberjack style outfit for her brother.

Maybe you prefer to sew Christmas PJs for your kids? Well we have you covered for that too! Project Run and Play has hosted several "pajama parties" with our designers using Project Run and Play shop patterns!

Lindsay of PACountryCrafts sewed these pajamas for her daughters and they got A LOT of wear in 2020! ;) They are still worn all the time to this day even if some had to be handed down. She used the Indigo Dress, Aurora Top, Rocky Shore Tights, and Pudding Pants.



Christmas pajamas don't have to be red and green! Ari of Max California did hers in pastels! She used the Rita Dress and Natsu Shorties patterns to create these fantastic party sets.



These look so cozy!!! Miranda of Inspinration sewed these awesome sets for her kids! She used the Cicero Jacket, and the Turnip Up Trousers patterns to create theses pajamas. 



PILLOW FIGHT!!! Jess from Lil Luxe Collection used adorable nutcracker fabric on her girls' PJs. She used used the Aster Cardigan and Metro Pants and Shorts patterns.



Mommy and Me Pajamas! Yes, please!!!! Kimberly from Straight Stitch Designs did such a great job on these! She used the Seed pattern.




Finally, we have these adorable nightgowns sewn by Audrey of Skirt Fixation using the Aurora Raglan.
