Easy Street Tee Testers for Project Street Style

The Easy Street Tee pattern would not have been possible without the help of our amazing pattern testers!  Their versions turned out so amazing and their feedback was invaluable in making this pattern a reality.  Each and every one of them sewed up such fun shirts!  How many Easy Street Tees did you see in the Project Street Style lookbook?

Find the Easy Street Tee in the shop here.

The Easy Street Tee offers 2 views. Unisex for every boy and girl, and soon to become their favorite tee ever. The dolman sleeves offer ultra comfort. The front is slightly cropped to show off the lines of a sassy skirt while providing just the right amount of coverage from the scooped back. The long sleeves boast a layered look with a faux rolled up cuff and extra long sleeves. The short sleeve tee is cuffed for on trend fashion. A raw edge pocket can be added to either tee. Seriously the fastest tee you’ll ever sew!
The Easy Street Tee is a companion pattern to the Stoplight Skirt.

Here is a sampling of the fun Easy Street Tees sewn by our testers:

Liesel sewed this fun short sleeve version to go with the Girl on the Go view of the Stoplight Skirt.

This is just one of MANY Easy Street Tees that Lindsay sewed.

Jenny sewed up every variation possible of the Easy Street Tee, including a jaw dropping flip sequin stoplight tee!

Feyza sewed up a short sleeve Easy Street Tee for her daughter and a long sleeve one for her son!

This super fun bicycle Easy Street Tee is sewn by the talented Sonia.

My boys have requested an Easy Street Tee just like this one Lorna sewed for her son!

Tai had us all drooling over her baby, oh! and the Easy Street Tee too!

Ashley sewed up a whole host one Easy Street Tees and experimented with fun fabrics (like stretch leather) and cool hacks (like an oversized neckline with bias binding!)

Believe it or not, this is not even all the Easy Street Tees Tenille sewed!

We all giggled when Frieda sewed up this Easy Street Tee for her son...and then her daughter stole it!

We just had to share this Easy Street Tee Dana sewed.  It looks fabulous with the She's A Caution view of the Stoplight Skirt on the left, but then even better with the unicorn upgrade on the right!

And of course as the designer, I sewed up quite a few versions of the Easy Street Tee for most of my kids too!  See some of them here.

Okay that's all of the Project Street Style goodness that we have for you right now...but stay tuned for some super exciting announcements coming AND the final Season of 2019!!!

Art Bella & Project Street Style

Our final guest for Project Street Style is Carin of Art Bella.  She created a fabulous array of looks using the Project Street Style patterns!  Plus she graciously contributed the Skatergirl digital design seen in this look:

For this look Carin used:

Easy Street Tee

Metro Pants and Shorts

And with those same patterns, Carin created a totally different look:

This is an excellent example of how versatile these patterns can be!  But that's not all, check out this creation:

For this stunning piece, Carin used the Indigo Pattern.

It was so encouraging to see these creations come from Carin because she hasn't been able to sew for quite some time due to her sewing room being out of commission due to a remodel!

Here's her thoughts on the Project Street Style collection:

Street style to me means functional, colorful and comfortable. This collection came just at the right time for us. My Bella loves to dress up in her own unique style, she does not want to wear dresses and if she does they usually don’t stay on for too long so we are loving the loose T’s the comfy pants and the Indigo Jumper is so comfy and can be dressed up or down. She likes bright colors and she likes to mix and match them. She is also being homeschooled this year so we do a lot of things outside, exploring, we love to hang at our favorite coffee shop, Flour house or when we are on the move on a Tuesday we grab a coffee at our favorite coffee truck, Cows Coffee.

Be sure to follow along over at Art Bella Creates for loads of inspiring sewing fun!

It's Liesel & Project Street Style

Are you enjoying this Street Style fashion show?  Today we have Liesel of It's Liesel.

First up she created the ultra suave skate park look using these patterns:

And then there was the large scale print skirt using this pattern:

Swoon worthy right?  Here's Liesel's thoughts on Street Style:

I wouldn't consider my style very "street" generally, but did have fun interpreting it in our way! To me street style means bravely wearing whatever you're inspired to wear. I love seeing all the art in our city. There are new murals going up weekly. I took inspiration from that in the colors I used. On this grey day, the bold colors of these Street Style patterns popped like art in their own right. I can't wait to play with more of these patterns, and maybe next time, I'll take photos with some fantastic art in the background too!

Head over to It's Liesel for all the details on these fantastic looks!

PA Country Crafts & Project Street Style

Next up we have Lindsay of PA Country Crafts with her creations for Project Street Style.  Now here's the deal, Lindsay didn't really get to pick what she wanted to sew for this!  The cover of the Stoplight Skirt pattern needed 3 girls just her ages wearing 3 skirts representing each view of the skirt.  So Lindsay kindly obliged my vision and whims and sewed up what I told her to instead of perhaps something she might have chosen!

For this look, Lindsay used these patterns:

This is Lindsay's thoughts on Project Street Style:

I am a country girl through and through, but every now and then it is exciting to visit a more urban place. We have several acres for our kids to play outside, so a trip to a playground is truly an adventure for them. For our Project Street Style photo shoot I could think of no better place than this fun, local playground with a kid-sized replica of the main street in town. My girls had fun ducking in and out of the little faux shops, performing on the stage, and then climbing all over the playground equipment. You can definitely see that the clothes are perfectly comfortable for playing hard! I loved being able to capture a glimpse of their childhood and we definitely made some fun memories to match their fun, new outfits!

Head over to PA Country Crafts to see and read more about Lindsay's take on Project Street Style.

Violets and Jewels & Project Street Style

Rachel of Violets and Jewels sewed up the most adorable pieces for Project Street Style!

For her looks she used these patterns:

Rachel shared her thoughts on something very special inspired the the Street Style theme:

We have a couple food trucks that we like to visit. One is just basically around the corner from our house and by the local school. It’s one of the two trucks in our small town, Taco Trucks. YUM! I can get a super burrito everyday if I could, the girls love just a basic carne asda taco. Our second favorite “truck” is The Tri-Tipery and it serves Tri-Tip in different Sandwiches  It has a home base restaurant and trucks for special events. Just typing this up is making me hungry to go get some food.

Okay, now we're in the mood for some food truck fun too!  Head over to Violets and Jewels for tons more Project Street Style inspiration.

Made of Starlite & Project Street Style

Jenny of Made of Starlite was the secret wings behind the Project Street Style event!  From the time she heard rumors of it happening, to the very last day of assembling the lookbook, she provided energetic excitement that kept up spirits!

Jenny designed the majority of the digital designs for Project Street Style, and they are a glorious array of pop culture and street style suave!  She sewed up a whole bunch of Easy Street Tees and then started adding designs!  You can see them all in the "Graphically Yours" layout in the Project Street Style lookbook.  And can we all just pause for a moment to appreciate that EPIC flip sequin stoplight shirt?

Perhaps Jenny's thoughts on Project Street Style provide insight into her enthusiasm:

Street Style to me means graphic tees, metallics and black! We have always lived in rural areas, but it's fun to take a day or weekend trip into the city to get our fill of hipster bookstores and amazing food trucks. One of my favorite downtown haunts in Kansas City is First Fridays. Sponsored by the River Market, the first weekend of the month from May through October, it is a mecca of food trucks, pop up boutiques and antique shops. Totally awesome, and the perfect place to flaunt your street style!

As if a billion Easy Street tees with graphic designs wasn't a big enough contribution, Jenny enthusiastically created two more photos shoots!

"Cheetah Girls" is a very cool, fashion forward extravaganza!  Jenny used these patterns to create this look:

"Pretty in Pink" is a sweet, shiny, sparkling bonanza!  In this one, Jenny used (and hacked beautifully) these patterns:

Plus you can see the FREE infinity scarf tutorial she is sharing today on Made of Starlite.

All these patterns are on SALE during release week (October 14-20) for 20% off!  Or you can buy them bundled for an even bigger discount.   Save over 30% by purchasing these patterns together in this bundle!

SewSophieLynn & Project Street Style

As usual, Tami of SewSophieLynn was the nicest person on the planet when it came to Project Street Style!  When asked if she could help sew up all the patterns and create a stunning photoshoot we could feature in the lookbook, she responded enthusiastically!  Again!

Here is what Tami had to say about Project Street Style:

I've always felt the draw to the city.  Growing up all over the United States, I remember the exhilaration of exploring the new cities we lived near.  The Space Needle in Seattle, the glamour of Los Angeles, the history and museums of Washington D.C., the excitement and hustle of New York City; these are all cemented in my early childhood memories.  My own children love to travel and I love creating these new memories with them.  We currently live right outside of Salt Lake City and love to head downtown.  Everything is heightened in the city.  The food somehow tastes better, the streets are full of character, and the lights are so much brighter!  It was so fun bringing the downtown feeling to life with Project Run and Play.

Head over to SewSophieLynn to see tons more smoldering Street Style looks!
